about brenda
Muddling through life at the intersection of mythology and magic, Brenda Peregrine is an Oregon-based, Chicago-born integration coach, tarot specialist, and esoteric systems analyst who actually kind of believes that integrating our intuition and our intellect can save the world.
After moonlighting as an event coordinator, a marketing manager, a content strategist, a digital course designer for corporate trainings, a band director-slash-librarian-slash-tech support at a school for gifted youngsters, and a fiction editor (and more!) for nearly a decade, she learned that things got a lot easier—and more sustainable—for her when she stopped pretending she wasn’t so strange and began to actually meet herself where she started.
As a result, she can’t help but think that the time and space necessary to truly know thyself should be recognized as a basic human right. Until that day comes, she’s dedicated herself to making it easier for all of us to take the tarot—and other intuitive practices—to heart.
Her tangible, heart-centered approach to the tarot was born out of her own desire to stop beating herself up over other people’s critical interpretations of the cards and instead center (and hopefully, remember) the supportive wisdom that surfaced from within amid the challenges of ADHD and modern life.
She self-identifies as a secular transcendentalist, a member of the LGBTQ community, and a multimedia artist and finds her working-class Roman Catholic upbringing (and the Chicago accent) hard to shake.
Ultimately, whether through tarot, herbalism, personal mentorship, or her art, she seeks to support others in developing their own intuitive awareness, illuminate what truth she can, and create a little more space for the magic and medicine that is abundantly available for us all.

Brenda Peregrine is a woman .
She is a tarot reader, astrologist, and ritualist who entered this life with a profound sense of the mystery and magnitude of our human experience, and she has dedicated herself to doing the work of making meaning of it.
Born in Rhode Island with quadruple fire placements in her natal chart, she found balance for her fire-dense origins growing up in the Ocean State. Swimming in her local tides from a young age taught her early on about the nature of the wave and its undertow, and with the straight horizon of the Atlantic ever-present in the distance, she found herself inescapably confronted by the Moon and its cycles.
Despite her felt sense of the rhythms of nature, it was many years before she began to put together the patterns of her self.
In her younger years, like many, she found herself lost in the cycles of others. With a desperate and chaotic desire to know her own soul and how it is connected to others, she gathered tools like astrology, tarot, and ritual, renewed her childhood relationship with the Moon, and began to look inward.
Today she aspires to help others learn about and align themselves with natural cycles in order to help them hear their own voices, get grounded, learn about their personal cycles, and feel cosmically connected to themselves, their soul’s purpose, and each other.
