Although most tarot decks (and all of the decks we use here) are built off of the same basic structure, the choice of which deck to use for a reading can be as important as choosing the spread itself.
Whether you’re the one interpreting the cards, or someone else is interpreting for you, the meaning that we co-create with the cards is (and must be!) a synthesis of all of the elements of that experience. This makes the cards, the art on the cards, and our collective associations with what we observe a critical part of getting a resonant response to our inquiry.
When choosing a deck for your reading, whether it’s with us or on your own, don’t overthink your decision! There are no wrong choices here. Pick the deck you are most drawn to, and trust that your instincts are leading you towards illumination.
