  • This deck bag has been designed specifically for tarot and oracle decks, but don’t let that limit you! Sized to fit most standard-sized decks (approx. 3” wide, 5” tall, and 1.5” deep), the squared corners keep decks intact while on the go and allow the bag to stand upright if you choose to display it instead.

    The drawstring opens easily but stays closed without being tied, the satin lining helps the cards slip out, and the durable cotton outside of the bag should last as long as your deck does.

    As tarot lovers ourselves, we make these bags to both elevate the reading experience and make it super accessible by allowing you to keep your cards at hand.

  • Each of our tarot deck bags is guaranteed to fit a standard-sized tarot deck or average-sized oracle deck (including Hay House decks of ~55 cards or fewer).

    However, any object of the following size will fit comfortably within the bag you receive:

    Height: 4.50 – 5.25 inches
    Width: 2.75 – 3.50 inches
    Depth: 1.00 – 1.25 inches

    These dimensions may include the box and the book if the deck is on the smaller end of this spectrum. Decks with especially large dimensions, large deck boxes, or Hay House decks of 70 cards or more may not fit comfortably in a standard-sized bag.

    We guarantee that the bag you receive will fit any standard-size tarot or oracle deck. If you find that your bag does not fit your deck after it’s been removed from the box, reach out to us at support@appliedarcana.com and include a photo of the deck in question and its inability to fit within the bag, and we will replace it with one that does, free of charge.

  • We make every effort to accurately represent our products online. However, due to the handmade nature of each bag and natural variance in materials, fabric patterning, and lot color, the exact look and specifications of the bag you receive may vary slightly from the bag pictured in the listing.

    Like all everyday objects, your deck bag may benefit from the occasional cleaning.

    If you would like to clean your bag, we recommend hand washing and line drying. That being said—here at HQ, we have tossed our lined cotton bags in the washing machine in a delicates bag *after removing the beads,* as the beads can’t handle a ride through the washer.

  • All sales are final. If you have a concern about the quality of the bag you receive, reach out to support@appliedarcana.com.

    Because of the nature of fabric supply, we cannot guarantee to exactly match a replacement. In such cases, we’ll work together to find a suitable substitute, or refund your purchase.

    If your bag happens to come unstrung, you can easily restring the drawstring with a blunt tapestry / yarn needle. If for some reason your string or beads outlive their functional life, or you can’t find an appropriate needle, reach out to us and we’ll help you get equipped!
